So, here it is, the end of July, and we haven't stuck to our publishing schedule. In early June, I think I realized that the second half of the year would not be like the first half--it was a conscious decision. Our authors we being stressed all around and there was no need to add to it.
Oh, and so were Morven (Portfoli-Mo, who is in charge of our covers) and I.
The second book in the Creed of the 21 Dragons series (Goldthorn) has been edited and the cover is finally being inked (that delay is a whole other story), and it will make it out by the end of the year.
The final book in the Magik and Dragons series isn't even to the editing stage and its cover is still a miasma of idea. It will make it out into the world when it is ready.
A lot of things are delayed right now, and we here at DreamPunk Press are learning to roll with it--for our own peace of mind if no one else's.
But, when Goldthorn finally releases, we will still celebrate, as we will when The End of Magik and Dragons does, too. There will just be a good amount of relief along with the celebration.
Keep dreaming,
