As the world finds a new normal that includes vaccinations against COVID and the possibility of reduced mask wearing, it is nice to see that public gatherings are once more going to happen.
And that means that DreamPunk Press--and our authors--will be heading out to conventions, markets, and book fairs. Some that we already have on our schedule:
MONARCH MARKET: Authors Tara Moeller and Pamela Kinney will be at the Monarch Market at ODU in Norfolk, Virginia on May 29, 2021 displaying their science-fiction novellas. They'll be willing to talk to you about sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and leading ladies who can kick butt. The Market is held on a blocked off part of Monarch Way) you can park in the 45th Street Parking Garage), starting at 8 a.m.
FANTASCI: Author E. G. Gaddess will have a table at FantaSci on the grounds of the Chesapeake, Virginia Public Library on July 24th. The fun starts at 10 a.m. outdoors at the Cedar Road Branch. More info at: https://www.visitchesapeake.com/event/fantasci/9951/.
AWESOMECON DC: Artist and Author Moven Moeller will be tabling as Portfoli-Mo at AwesomeCon DC on August 20, 21, and 22, 2021. It's the biggest comic convention in the DC area. Morven will be in Pride Alley. More information can be found at https://awesome-con.com/.
FREDX INDEPENDENT BOOK FAIR: DreamPunk Press hopes to attend the Fredericksburg Independent Book Fair in September. As of right now, authors Tara Moeller, Morven Moeller, and J. M. Silverleaf will be in attendance--as long as the event is held as planned. The organizers are still waiting for a decision from the city.
MARSCON: Looking ahead into 2022, DreamPunk Press will be a vendor at The Original Marscon in Williamsburg, Virginia from 14 through 16 of January. (http://www.marscon.net/wp/) We'll have the latest fantasy from J. M. Silverleaf and T. L. Frye, sci-fi from Tara Moeller and Pamela Kinney, and -- maybe -- something new from Morven Moeller. Oh, and we'll have the Silver&Smith series from Travis I. Sivart in open dyslexic!
We also plan to participate in the 2022 Gaithersburg Book Festival, showing off the latest from Zahra Jons (she's on a streak right now with 5-star awards from Lit Pick for both of her first two novels), and she should be there at our booth.
And of course, you can always find us on Social Media - like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - and our Dreamer-in-Chief is a regular on the Write Night podcast produced by TravisTavernTalk (you can find more at Twitch.tv/TravisTavernTalk).
